Grandpa Gamble

On August 11th we attended Grandpa Gamble's memorial in Show Low. It was held at the Methodist church he attended. It was a wonderful service and well attended by his friends and neighbors. In the foyer of the church was a table with his picture and a bowl of his favorite pink mint candies. A dvd, with music by Alan Jackson and photos of Grandpa from the time he was a baby until just a few weeks before his death, was shown during the service. He really experienced alot in his 85 years! It was nice having the family together, but would have been nicer under happier circumstances. After the service, we went to eat pizza at Pat's Place, then to spread Grandpa's ashes where he spread Grandma's ashes years ago. I'm glad they are together now and Grandma has someone to take care of again! She sure spoiled Grandpa and I'm not sure he appreciated it until she was gone. Not to worry anymore!
