Champion Basketball Team!!

Misty's team did it! They won the championship of their division in basketball. It was a single-elimination situation, so for 3 days, we never knew if her team would advance to the next round. Each game they won took them closer to the big prize! They even played a team from Queen Creek whose players were much taller. Misty's team played them earlier in the season and lost to them, so the girls were a little bummed when they found out they'd be playing them again. But bigger doesn't always mean better and Misty's team beat them and advanced to the finals. Today after school, Coach Bried is having a pizza party for the team. Misty really enjoyed playing basketball and being part of a winning team! (She's #40)
