Happy Birthday to Lynn! Thank you to everyone that attended his party on
the 15th. We had a great time and he received some fun gifts (an enema and denture cream, for example, thanks mom & Don!). We appreciate everyone making the trek out to the boonies here in Gold Canyon to help make Lynn's day special.
little surprise lunch and cake for him. Some of the employees decorated his office with black balloons and 'caution' tape and even gave him a crazy cane with a horn on it. They were nice enough to get him a gift, which was a rolling briefcase. He uses it everyday and really likes it.
We met Lynn's parents and Aunt Dee at Macaroni Grill for dinner on Lynn's birthday. Since Lynn's mom's birthday is 3 days after his, they both received a slice of delicious chocolate cake at the restaurant. Lynn was relieved to learn that the girl that sings the "Happy Birthday" song to customers strained her voice and wasn't there to sing that evening. We had a nice visit and they gave Lynn a jacket from Ketchikan, Alaska, which is where they went on their cruise recently.
