So have you been wondering what the heck happened? Where are those Hunsakers anyways? Every day I look at about 10 different blogs of friends and family. I love looking at their photos and reading about what's going on with them. Then I think about updating my blog and suddenly I remember I need to get back to work or do laundry or something else. I wait so long in between posts that I forget how to post!! So, I haven't posted anything since our trip to Italy which was months ago. Instead of going into detail about the happenings of our lives in the past 5 months...I'm going to post a few photos and a line or two describing the picture. AND, hopefully, after I finish here, I will keep a more updated blog. What good is a blog if you don't update it anyhow? Exactly. So here we go...
In April, MedOne participated in the MDA Walk at Tempe Town Lake. We had a booth, brought a few wheelchairs to display, handed out candy, water, juice and pens.

Channel 3's weekend weather girl, Brittany, gets the walk started!

Lynn FINALLY got his drums! He loves them and he's good, too!
ROCK ON.....

In June, we again had some special visitors to our front porch. I went outside to get the mail one day and noticed something had been digging in my plant, throwing dirt EVERYWHERE!!

Upon further inspection, I found 1 small speckled egg, all alone in a small crater where all this dirt used to be. Each day another egg was added to the crater....eventually there would be 15.
Momma quail would sit on the eggs all day and night. She would leave about 5:00 pm every day to eat, I guess, then return for more sitting, and sitting, and sitting......Until one day.....

They hatched! Well, most of them
anyhow. The entire family
disappeared soon after I took this
picture. They were SO CUTE!
We had the privilege of having 3
different nests in our yard this year.
One on the front porch and 2 in the
back yard. I feel like a chicken farmer.
WILL POST MORE SOON...I PROMISE!!!
